From Colin Chapman’s first encounter with Graham Hill, Jim Clark’s win in the first British GP held at the circuit and Jo Siffert’s privateer victory with Rob Walker, to the inaugural Elise Trophy race, Brands Hatch is integral to the history of Britain’s most charismatic sportscar marque.
This August sees a return for the Lotus Festival to the circuit where the event was first held back in 2007. One major change that is sure to be welcomed by everyone is that racing will be held on the full Grand Prix circuit this time.
With a packed weekend of top class racing, including Elise Trophy, Lotus Cup UK and a very special Lotus Elan race, demonstrations of classic and modern Lotus race and road machinery, plus numerous trade stands, displays and demonstrations, thousands of Lotus enthusiasts will be heading to Brands Hatch on 18th-19th August 2012.
