Preparations for the Brands Hatch Lotus Festival are building up pace, with the launch of a new updated website for the 2012 event. The event takes place this August (18th & 19th) and features Lotus racing alongside attractions both on and off the circuit.
The website contains everything you need to know about the festival, with details of confirmed attractions, plus news as soon as it is announced in the weeks leading up to the big occasion.
Visitors can also request a free sticker and download an event poster. There will also be an exciting competition going live on the 1st July with some great prizes.
Brands Hatch Lotus Festival Press Officer Kevin Ritson said that the website will generate huge support for the event: “For one weekend, Brands Hatch will be the centre of the Lotus world and we’d love to see as many owners and enthusiasts as possible,” he said. “Whichever era or car is your favourite, you’re going to love this event – Formula 1 owes much to this brand and expect to see a heavy presence from the rich history of Team Lotus. It’s a quintessentially British marque and from Colin Chapman’s early racing exploits to the British Grand Prix and beyond, its success is synonymous with Brands Hatch.”
