If you’re coming along to this weekends (24/25 August) Lotus Festival, here is some important information to help you make the most of your visit.

Can I still purchase tickets?
Tickets are available on the gate on the day.
Advance tickets from this website are now closed. However, our friends at Lotus Forums have some discounted advance tickets available until midnight 20/8 – HERE.

What time do the gates open?
Gates open at 8am on both days.

Where should I park and how much does it cost to park?
The main Lotus car park will be within the circuit on Southbank (the large grassed area opposite Cooper Straight), this is free of charge for all Lotus cars. Please follow the signs for Southbank. All other vehicles may also be parked in the main Brands Hatch car parks, also for free – enter via the main entrance to Brands Hatch.

Displaying a car on a club stand? – vehicle pass information.
Those who are bringing their car into the circuit and parking on a club stand or display should receive a black club VIP parking hangar by Monday 19/8. This should be displayed in your windscreen at all times.

I have a Lotus, is it too late to exhibit my car?
Not just yet, we are still looking for cars for the show and shine competition, rally demonstrations and any other special Lotus’ to display. If you are a member of a car club supporting the event you can also contact your club to see if you can help them. Additionally, the Southbank parking area is open to all Lotus’ for free. See the circuit entry map on our Venue Info page.

What time are the Lotus parades?
All Lotus cars – Saturday – 13.35 – This parade will be led by the Lotus Cortinas. All other Lotus cars on site may join behind for a lap of the GP circuit behind a safety car.
340R – Saturday – 16.50 – Cars will be brought from the 340R parking area and given a lap of the GP circuit behind a safety car.
Brian Angus Esprit time line – Sunday – Bibs will inform you of time. You will be parked up on grid at end of the lap.
Lotus Cortina 50th Anniversary parade lap – Sunday 13.25 – Cars will be brought from the Cortina parking area and given a lap of the GP circuit behind a safety car.
Classic Lotus F1 demonstrations – Sunday 13.45 and 15.55

Import information for those taking part in parades – Please listen for announcements as timetable could change. Please queue in orderly manner and follow instructions. Unlike previous years those taking part do NOT need to sign on. Crash helmets should NOT be worn. Passengers are 14 and over.

There are 6 races on Saturday afternoon and 11 races during the day on Sunday.

What else is there to do & see?
Lotus trade village – there is a huge Lotus trade village on Colin Chapman way. Lotus cars and a number of Lotus main dealers will be showing the latest products from Hethel. Alongside them will be Classic Team Lotus who will also have the Lotus 25 on their stand. Coterie Press will also have the launch of their new Lotus book – “The Marque” a must have for every Lotus enthusiast. In addition there will be Lotus parts suppliers such as Elise-Shop.com, Pro-Alloy and Elise-Spares.
Lotus Cortina 50th Anniversary display – The largest ever collection of Lotus Cortinas will be assembled each day on what will be the centre piece of this years festival.
Lotus Club stands and displays – Colin Chapman way will be filled with numerous Lotus clubs displaying every type of Lotus possible.

Lotus clubs Karting competition – A dozen clubs competing against each other for this years crown. The Brands Hatch kart circuit is also open all weekend for public laps. Read More
Lotus Motorsport display – The very latest race cars from Lotus will be displayed opposite the megastore all weekend.
Rally course – A number of Lotus rally cars will be demonstrating all weekend. There will also be Brands Hatch run rally cars offering passenger laps to the public for a small fee.
Pit lane walkabout – Sunday 9.15. A chance to wander around the pit lane which will be full of Lotus race cars. GP paddock access is open to all throughout the weekend but outside the pit lane walkabout the pit lane is restricted to those 16 and over.

General Lotus camping – Friday 23/8 13.00hrs – Monday 26/8 12.00hrs
Main Lotus / SELOC Fest camping – Thursday 22/8 14.00hrs – Monday 26/8 12.00hrs

Show and shine entrant information
Those who have entered the show and shine competition should have received a pair of weekend tickets plus a black VIP parking hangar (posted 15/8). Please access the circuit via the main entrance at the times marked on the hangar and park in the allocated area. Cars will be judged at 11am on Sunday. If your car is on another club stand please let us know as we will visit it there.
