The search is on to find the best-prepared Lotus at this year’s festival, with entries to the annual ‘Show and Shine’ competition now open.
Owners of Lotus cars spanning the company’s illustrious history are invited to submit their pride and joy to the contest. However you’ll need to hurry, as just 20 places are available on a first-come-first-served basis.
A special team of judges will assess the cars, which will be divided into four categories: Pre 1974, 1974-1995, 1996-2008 and Post 2009. This takes place between midday and 1pm on Sunday 28th with trophies being awarded at 1:30pm so please be by your cars as the judges will want to talk to you. Prizes will be awarded based on overall appearance and condition, taking into account whether a car is restored or original. In addition to class trophies for the top three and most fun vehicle, there will also be an overall winner.
Entries to the competition are free and entitle the owner to two weekend passes to the event, with parking in a special display area. You will have to be on site by 9am on Sunday 28th due to vehicle movement restrictions. To enter, Click Here.
