The search is on to find the best-prepared Lotus at this year’s festival, with entries to the annual ‘Show and Shine’ competition now open.
Owners of Lotus cars spanning the company’s illustrious history are invited to submit their pride and joy to the contest. However you’ll need to hurry, as just 40 places are available on a first-come-first-served basis.
A special team of judges will assess the cars, which will be divided into four categories: Pre 1974, 1974-1995, 1996-2008 and Post 2009. Prizes will be awarded based on overall appearance and condition, taking into account whether a car is restored or original. In addition to class trophies for the top three and most fun vehicle, there will also be an overall winner.
